Types of nylon tubes


1.1 molding nylon tube


It refers to the nylon tube assembly with fixed length after fixing coupling nut on nylon tube and placing clamp and liner core respectively, and then extruding with special equipment.


1.2 non-formed nylon tube


Refers to the nylon tube, union nut, clamp and liner core are loose parts. During installation, install the coupling nut on the nylon pipe first, and then put the clamp and the liner core, which can be directly connected to the joint. After the connection is completed, the clamp will be squeezed and deformed. The lining core, nylon tube and clamp will be fixed together, and the effect is the same as that of molded nylon tube. Since the packing length of nylon tube is generally 200 meters per plate, it is necessary to intercept the nylon tube assembly according to the required length. The outer diameter of nylon tube is generally 4 ~ 18mm, the wall thickness is 0.75 ~ 2mm.


2. Nylon pipe connection structure


2.1 the normal bayonet structure is the same as the normal bayonet structure used in the manual of automotive standard parts, which is widely used.


2.2 inverted sleeve structure


The bushing core and union nut have the same structure as the normal clamp, but the clamp itself has different structure, which can match with the flaring joint. Greatly improve the application range of nylon tube.

3.1 the advantages


A. Good sealing performance, with the use of clamp and liner structure, no need to use pipeline sealant, can also meet the sealing requirements.


B. The inner wall is smooth, the air resistance is small, the system filling (exhaust) time is short, the air braking response speed is fast, the pressure loss is small.


C. Extremely light weight, easy to fix and no vibration noise.


D. High voltage withstand value. Generally, the withstand value of nylon pipe is above 1500kPa, which is enough to meet the requirements of various automobile pipe pressure.


E. Due to fewer intermediate transitions, the number of joints can be reduced to facilitate detection, assembly and vehicle layout.


F. It has a certain anticorrosive property, no adverse chemical reactions, and is not easy to age.


4. Application of nylon pipe in brake pipeline


For mass production of automobile manufacturers, suitable for the use of molded nylon tube, in the case of length determination, only need to carry out a simple connection to install and fix. For refitted car manufacturers, in the process of refit chassis, it is often difficult to install assembly disassembly, installation position is tight, difficult to change the oil road, gas road (especially gas road). Non-molding nylon tube does not need molding, easy to install, the length can be determined arbitrarily, can well solve the above problems. In the reform of brake piping, because of the need to add a set of trailer brake system, many new brake piping parts are added. However, in the actual loading, due to the influence and interference of other assemblies and components, its position was difficult to arrange, and some positions could not even be connected and installed.
